Melbourne
Custom software for Melbourne businesses, owned outright.
Melbourne has the deepest professional services and light manufacturing base in the country, and both are industries where the software problem is the same: a good product that fits eighty per cent of the process, and a spreadsheet holding the rest.
We build the whole hundred per cent, once, and you own it.No per-user licence, no renewal, and no waiting on a vendor’s roadmap for the field you asked for.
What we see in Melbourne
Professional services firms fighting their own practice software.
Melbourne’s accounting, legal and advisory firms are the ones most likely to have outgrown a per-seat practice product. The pattern is consistent: the firm grows, the licence bill grows with it, and the workflow is still bent around a model that suits a different sort of practice. See professional services for what we build and what we deliberately leave alone.
The second pattern is manufacturing and wholesale. Contract pricing, consignment stock and freight allocation are the three things that never fit an off-the-shelf inventory system, and they are exactly the three we get asked for. That is wholesale and distribution.
How it actually works
Remote delivery, said honestly.
We are in Sydney. We do not have an office in your city and we are not going to imply one with a virtual address, because you would find out and it would be the first thing you learned about how we operate.
What that means in practice: the mapping sessions are video calls, usually two or three of them, with whoever actually does the work rather than only the owner. The build runs in weekly demos you can watch. Handover is a recorded walkthrough plus documentation, so it survives the person who sat in the meetings leaving.
The part that matters is the same time zone. Not being in your city is a minor inconvenience. Being twelve hours behind you, which is where a lot of cheap development sits, is a project risk.
Common questions
Answered plainly.
Do you work with businesses in Melbourne?
Yes. We are based in Sydney and work with businesses across Australia, Melbourne included. Mapping and demos run over video in the same time zone, and handover is documented so it does not depend on anyone being in the room.
Do you have an office in Melbourne?
No, and we are not going to pretend otherwise with a virtual address. We are at 159 Epping Road, Macquarie Park in Sydney. Everything is delivered remotely, and we will say so before you ask rather than after.
Which Melbourne industries do you build for most?
Professional services firms and wholesale or light manufacturing businesses, which is what Melbourne has more of than anywhere else. Trades and construction are steady too. We do not take work requiring trust accounting, award interpretation or clinical records, and every industry page says so.
What does a custom build cost for a Victoria business?
The same as anywhere: Basic $5,000, Premium $9,000, Complex from $18,000, fixed before anything starts. Location does not change the price, and we publish it on a page rather than behind a form.
Can we meet in person?
If you are in Sydney, yes, and it is worth doing when the business is complicated enough that showing us beats describing it. From Melbourne, video calls do the same job and we would rather put the travel budget into the build.
Where to next
A video call and your worst spreadsheet.
That is the whole first meeting. Twenty minutes, in your time zone, and you keep the numbers whether or not we build anything.
