Perth

Perth runs on contractors, and contractors run on spreadsheets.

Western Australia’s services economy is built around contracting: mining services, industrial maintenance, civil, and the trades that support all three. Compliance, mobilisation and evidence matter more here than almost anywhere else in the country.

Generic job software does not hold any of that well. Site inductions, competency expiries, shutdown scheduling and client-specific reporting formats are where the spreadsheets multiply.

What we see in Perth

Compliance evidence that lives in four places at once.

Contractors working to a large client’s standards carry an evidence burden that generic job software was never designed for: inductions, competencies, plant records, pre-starts, and reporting in whatever format the client demands this quarter.

The result is a job system, a document folder, a spreadsheet of expiry dates and somebody’s reminder in Outlook. That is four sources of truth for one obligation, and it is exactly what compliance and case management is for.

The trades side is the same story as the rest of the country, with the meters running on job volume or per user. See trades.

The time difference, honestly

Two or three hours, and it is a real difference.

Perth is the one city where we will not claim the time zone is a non-issue. Two or three hours means our afternoon is your late morning, and a same-day answer needs to be asked for before lunch your time.

In practice we schedule calls in the Perth morning, and the working overlap is genuinely usable. It is still a world away from a development team you can only reach while you are asleep, which is the alternative most contractors have tried at least once.

Common questions

Answered plainly.

Do you work with businesses in Perth?

Yes. We are based in Sydney and work with businesses across Australia, Perth included. Mapping and demos run over video in the same time zone, and handover is documented so it does not depend on anyone being in the room.

Do you have an office in Perth?

No, and we are not going to pretend otherwise with a virtual address. We are at 159 Epping Road, Macquarie Park in Sydney. Everything is delivered remotely, and we will say so before you ask rather than after.

Does the time difference cause problems?

Two or three hours is real but workable. We schedule calls in the Perth morning, which is the middle of our day, and the overlap is comfortable. It is a different situation entirely from offshore development you can only reach overnight.

Can you handle contractor compliance and competency tracking?

Yes, and it is one of the most common things we are asked for in WA. Inductions, competencies, plant records and expiries in one place, with reminders before they lapse rather than a report after. We build to obligations you define; we do not interpret them for you.

What does a custom build cost for a Western Australia business?

The same as anywhere: Basic $5,000, Premium $9,000, Complex from $18,000, fixed before anything starts. Location does not change the price, and we publish it on a page rather than behind a form.

Can we meet in person?

If you are in Sydney, yes, and it is worth doing when the business is complicated enough that showing us beats describing it. From Perth, video calls do the same job and we would rather put the travel budget into the build.

Bring the expiry spreadsheet.

The one tracking competencies and inductions that somebody updates by hand. Twenty minutes on a call, in your morning, and you will get an honest answer about whether a build is worth it.
