Pricing

One price. One time. Then it is yours.

The number changes with how much software there is to build, never with how many people use it. No per-seat fee, no renewal, nothing to cancel.

The price is fixed before anything is built, and it is fixed after the map rather than before it, which is the only honest order to do it in.

How it goes

Nobody buys a $9,000 build off a website. So we do not ask you to.

Four steps, and you can stop after any of them with something in your hands.

The cost check

Free

We add up what your current software actually costs over five years against a build, using the vendor's own published pricing. Takes about twenty minutes and you keep the numbers whether or not you go further.

The map

Paid, small

One day writing down how the work actually moves, including the parts that currently only live in somebody's head. You keep the map whether or not you build with us. This is where most of the value gets decided.

The build

$5,000 to $18,000+

Fixed price, agreed before anything is written. Basic, Premium or Complex depending on how much software there is to build, not on how many people will use it.

Changes, later

Batched

Collected and done in a batch when you want them. Not a retainer, because a monthly bill for software you already own is the thing this whole business is arguing against.

Common questions

Pricing, answered properly.

Why are you cheaper than other Australian development agencies?

Australian agencies publish $15,000 to $75,000, with $25,000 to $45,000 typical for an SME build, checked 16 August 2026. We sit below that floor on purpose. We are small, we do not carry an account management layer, and we scope hard by refusing work that needs a regulated engine underneath it. The trade is that we say no to a class of project a bigger firm would take.

Is the price really fixed?

Yes, and it is fixed after the map rather than before it, which is the honest order. Quoting a fixed price before anyone has written down how the business works is how projects end up renegotiated halfway through.

What is not included?

Hosting, which you pay directly to Cloudflare rather than to us, usually a very small amount and sometimes nothing. Third-party subscriptions the build talks to, such as Xero or a payment gateway. And your domain, which stays in your name.

Do you charge per user?

No, and we never will. Adding your next hire costs nothing. That is the single biggest difference between owning and renting, and it is the reason the maths turns over so fast once a team passes about eight people.

What if it turns out I should not build anything?

Then we say so on the cost check and you have lost twenty minutes. If ServiceM8 at $79 a month flat covers your business, a $9,000 build takes ninety-five years to pay for itself. We would rather tell you that than sell you something that does not make sense.

Can we pay in instalments?

Yes. Builds are normally split across a deposit and milestones tied to what is actually working, not to dates.
